Post-Operative Information

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

DRESSING

• A bandaid may be applied by your doctor after your procedure. 

• You may reapply a bandaid if the treated area is bleeding, oozing or if your doctor prescribed Salicylic Acid. 

• Cloth bandaids are preferred.  

 

 

ACTIVITY

Upon your discharge, unless otherwise instructed, you may continue your normal activities including driving.

 

 

BATHING

You may resume your normal bathing routine immediately.

 

 

DISCOMFORT

• Use Tylenol or Advil for pain as needed.  

• If you experience pain or stinging, you may rest your foot/feet on ice for 10 minutes at a time.

 

 

PREVENTION

• Keep shower clean. Use antiviral cleansers such as Clorox or Lysol to prevent spreading the virus to others.

• Please do not walk around barefoot. This may spread the virus to others as well.

Please note that several treatments may be necessary. If required, your next laser treatment will be made at the Center prior to your discharge.
